Grandma & Grandpa's house=SMILES!

Serious business for three little guys

picture #1. Look at the expressions of concern on Austin and Myles' faces.
picture #2. Success & smiles all around.

P.S. after looking closer I see that Baylee also is smiling after Tyson's success.
Poor Jeremey couldn't handle the stress of the whole thing and had to close his eyes. Then in second picture -- relief!

Love this blog!

This blog is such a fun way to stay in touch. Thanks Karlene!
Two dates to put on your calendar.
1. family photo date has been changed to 10-10-10. A great date for us all to remember -- my brother's birthday! And yes, a great date all on it's own.
2. July 30 to Aug 3, 2011 (four sleeps) for our Yellowstone Vacation. These dates aren't set in cement because we haven't booked the cabin yet but we are aiming for those dates. The same cabin that we used last time is available (the price has gone up but we think it's worth it). More details later. FUN!

I loved this quote.

This is so true.

“Prophecies regarding the last days often refer to large-scale calamities such as earthquakes or famines or floods [and] . . . economic or political upheavals of one kind or another. But there is one kind of latter-day destruction that has always sounded to me more personal than public, more individual than collective—a warning, perhaps more applicable inside the Church than outside it. The Savior warned that in the last days even those of the covenant, the very elect, could be deceived by the enemy of truth.”
Jeffery R Holland. "Safety for the Soul," Ensign, Nov. 2009, 88

Tyson and Mike are TWINS!!!

MORE ROCKS (pictures not in right order. the first should be last).

A WORK IN PROGRESS (should have been first pictures)

$10.00 freebee, kind of

Macy's sent me a $10.00 gift certificate for my birthday. I couldn't find anything that I needed but had to use the $10.00 freebee! So I ended up with a roaster pan. I already have a roaster pan. I use it once or twice a year. The roaster was on sale so my cost was only $21.00. And it does have two great fork things that I'm happy to have.

It's like buying dog food because it's on sale but having no dog.

Craig would never be able to understand this!

It was 25 years ago today that Garrett was born. In some ways it seems like yesterday. What a comfort the gospel is.

M. Gilbert Keeler

To answer the question on everyone's minds: No, Chuck didn't CAVE and get me a kitty for my birthday. But he certainly has been wonderful in tolerating the cute little bugger. My best friend from high school dropped him off on our doorstep on Saturday morning with a cute little note saying, "If you don't want me, or Chuck won't let you keep me, call this number."

Chuck said we could keep him.

Now we have a kitty. And his name is M. Gilbert Keeler. Apostle-like, eh? (Several of you will know what the M. stands for- but Chuck thinks it's ridiculous so I can't openly say what it stands for. We'll just call him Gill.)

He's super cute. - He makes us sneeze and itch - But he's super cute.
