P.S. I'm trying not to take this too personally but this blog will no longer let me post anything -- not even comments (which I love to make). Karlene has tried to fix the problem but so far nothing works. I have to have Karlene post all of my blogs now. Bummer!

Cowabunga Bay

Friday we went to Cowabunga Bay with Trav and the kids.... It was a blast! Thanks to the Keeler family for spending the afternoon with us! Love you guys!

Taco Salad

I'm still working on (scrapping) pictures from DisneyWorld, but I wanted to post this sweet picture of the kids with grandpa chatting on the hotel deck in Miami. Bad lighting, but I had to be sneaky. I didn't want them to know I was taking it. They all sat out there for the longest time.

Oh and this one! haha The Space Rangers!

Creamy Black Bean Chicken

2-4 Chicken Breast
1 C. Chicken Broth
1 C. Salsa
1 15oz can Corn (drained)
1 15oz can Black Beans (drained)
1 pkg Taco Seasoning
1/2 C. Sour Cream
1 C. Cheddar Cheese

Put chicken, broth, salsa, corn, beans & taco seasoning in crock-pot and cook on high for 4 hrs. Shred chicken and mix in cheese and sour cream. Serve over flour tortillas

An old pioneer saying is, "If there is still snow in the 'sleigh runner' by the 4th of July then we will have enough water for the year".

One summer (since we have lived here) there was NO snow in the sleigh runner on the 4th.
