Had a GREAT trip!!!

We had a wonderful time in Florida! Two weeks full of fun. We rented a 15 passenger van so we could all be together as we drove from place to place. Some of what we did (not in order); visited all of the Disney Parks at least once; toured the Everglades on an air boat; held a live 2 to 3 foot alligator; drove to Miami; walked on the beach; did baptisms in the Orlando Temple; celebrated Baylee's 16th birthday; swam in the Atlantic Ocean at Fort Lauderdale; toured Harry Potter Land and rode on a fantastic ride through the Hogwarts Castle; toured NASA; played Five Crown several nights; stopped at the Miami NBA Basketball Colosseum so Trek could purchase a Miami Heat shirt; was there when Brinley inventing a new card game -- Five Peasants; Whitney said the best for her was seeing the closing event at Cinderella's Castle -- fantastic pictures projected on the walls and spectacular fireworks.

The best of all -- lots of time with the family. Great memories!

Oh yes, and Karlene took hundreds of pictures.
Thanks Ron, Karlene & kids for including us and Lori, we LOVED it!

Blog problems with posting comments

Darci, I tried to post a comment on your blog but it is having the same problem that this blog had - won't let me post. I don't know how Karlene fixed it ???
Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed your pictures and that we told our kids they couldn't have a bike until they were 8 (because they weren't old enough to be safe). But then I saw Lori riding her friends bike - so we relented and let them have one a bit earlier than 8.

A Word of Wisdom

While studying for my lesson, I came across this quote and it just struck me. Thought I'd share.

"In a world of turmoil and uncertainty, it is more important than ever to make our families the center of our lives and the top of our priorities.
Families lie at the center of our Heavenly Father's plan."
                           L. Tom Perry of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles

Several stories in the news have really upset me and I just keep thinking how fragile life is and we could lose any of our loved ones at any moment. I don't want any regrets. That's why I'm going to try a little harder to be a little better!
                                                                 Love, Karlene

Family Dinner

Our next family dinner will be July 3rd.
Not sure what the menu will be -- maybe a BBQ.
Love you all!
