A thought, imagine that.

I just had a thought, possible even a profound thought. So I'll share it.
"Children can't appreciate their parent's love for them until they also become a parent themselves." So kids, appreciate your parents! They love you more than all of your friends combined, and then some. Plus a parent's love lasts forever.

Wow, I think you were inspired to write this. Seriously! Thanks, Mom. I love you more than I can ever express or show. You are a wonderful example to me and I want to be just like you some day. Love, Lisa

My intent was not to solicit compliments but to prick the grandchildren into appreciating their parents. But hey, who couldn't enjoy such a nice compliment, thanks. You are setting the good example for the grandchildren to say some nice things to their parents. Grandchildren, are you listening!

P.S. It doesn't have to be here on the blog but take the opportunity to let them know you care and appreciate.
